All the load transmits through this component and is primarily the lifeline of the structure. Other components including anchor, guy attachment and the supported structure itself stands important as well however the chances of their failure is remote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The basic and the foremost inspection of a guy wire is to perform a thorough visual check. This should provide information related to the general condition of the wire especially the lubricating part. Grease is an essential component to protect guy wire from external condition. Visual inspection shall come up with findings, if any, on the condition of grease. With passage of time, grease solvent gets dried out and crack Tensioning of guy wire is essential to its load bearing capability and overall stability of the whole guyed structure. This shall be ensured as per the recommendations provided by the manufacturer.
