I have observed with AI support now a days, engineering understanding of things and performing calculations have been a lot easier, and in many cases dependable as well.
However, how one can actually rely on the support provided?

Re: Engineering Help & AI Support
A lot can be said here but the fact is that AI support has been incredible at least where you do not find quick references.
I had a situation last week thinking about an issue of repeated gland leaks from an instrument control valve and upon chatting with chatgpt, as an Operations Engineer got a lot of clarity on things to be considered. Though I would never say that AI can be a replacement of a specialized Mechanical Engineer answering my queries but AI support was no bad. I am sure that before talking to my fellow discipline engineer, I would be having some basic information.
