Exchanger Channel Head Gasket QC

What should be the standard QC checks to be performed when replacing the gasket of any exchanger channel head especially when it is in a critical service?

There has to be a flange & gasket control implemented, and in place with the maintenance to have all these activities duly recorded.
As a minimum, any record should contain the following:
Gasket type
Gasket material
Gasket size
Part No.
Supplier
Received date from warehouse
Installing instructions (critical service)
Installed by
Special notes (critical service)
