by PetroStreet
PetroStreet is looking forward to develop an engineering software to support plant operations staff with their day-to-day needs, containing modules for all disciplines. Like for process engineers:
a. Pipe sizing
b. Control valve sizing
c. PSV sizing
Similarly for project engineers:
a. Piping thickness calculations
b. Piping support design check
c. Clamp design
For inspection engineers:
a. Repair methods
b. Welding procedure
c. NDT requirements

Share your inputs on what else would be useful for you to have in this package.

Have something on these, if possible:
1. Quantitative risk assessment
2. Dispersion modelling
3. Orifice sizing

Some assistance on quick damage mechanism identification based upon the material, and the service conditions.

I was thinking about having some engineering assistance on having temporary repairs other than clamps. We apply non-metallic wrapping and depend upon the documents provided by the Contractor to qualify them.

Great initiative.
Damage mechanisms and their affect on related process equipment, if that can be sorted out into an easy to use program.
Material properties data both chemical composition and mechanical properties.

Thanks neo, ivani1, and arcpro.
Others can still add their suggestions.
