USA built pressure vessel to be installed Canada, reqs?

Our facility has built pressure vessels for use inside the USA and yes we hold a "U" stamp cert among others.
We are in the process of bidding a pressure vessel job to be installed in Canada.
Are there any additional requirements to be met other than it being built to ASME Section VIII div. 1 and registered with NBIC?
Thank you in advance,
Robert P.

Hello Robert,
You need to look into any specific requirements laid down by the client in purchase requisition.
Sometimes, additional requirements for materials are to be met as per supplementary guidelines laid in ASTM or some other like in NACE standards.
Wish you the best in bidding.

Thank you for the information, will research your suggestions.
Found that CRN is required and does vary between each province.
We also have some tanks to build to API 650 standard and it is my understanding that no CRN is required for those tanks.

You must look into B51 standard of CSA for complete compliance to all the requirements for Pressure Vessels to be used in Canada.

I do not know exactly but yes there are some specific requirements for storage tanks to be installed in Canada.
You may have to contact the Client for detailed requirements need to be followed over and above API 650 for compliance with environmental regulations especially. In some of the cases, Client themselves take care of these regulations.
