What are the main features need to be reviewed for WPS & PQR?
Is there any guideline document available?

I would recommend you to go through API 577 "Welding Inspection" in addition to ASME Sec. IX.
You may also like to have "CASTI guidebook to ASME Sec. IX".

Arranging a detailed course on ASME Sec. IX would help you a lot.
By the way what's your welding code? ASME Sec. IX or API 1104?
API 1104 requirements are limited and easy to understand for a beginner as compared to ASME Sec. IX.

Just added,
before you review wps/pqr, first you read client specs and welding code to be use.
after that identified essential variable mentioned on welding code(AWS D1.1 , ASME IX , API 1104, etc), make sure PQR number and WPS number relevant.
if you use AWS D1.1 prequalified , you can see on AWS D1.1 section 3

Thanks everybody for your responses.
arcpro: Where can I get the CASTI guide?
ben: I have to work with ASME Sec. IX as the applicable welding code.
I know about the essential variables to be looked into but I am searching for a quick guide which can help me in reviewing a WPS & PQR.

There are many AWS publications which can guide you through in reviewing WPS & PQR for different materials.
Visit AWS site and find the most suitable one you need.
I know about AWS PAPQV which is an excellent publication. Here is a brief description:
"Cross-Reference Tables for AWS D1.1, AWS D1.5, AWS B2.1, ASME IX, and API 1104. Provides insight and guidance in the preparation of Welding Procedure Specifications and Procedure Qualification Records for five commonly used standards, and highlights differences in documentation and qualification requirements."
