Fired heater are supported in HYSYS Dynamics mode ONLY, except in latest versions. Can you tell me the version you are using?

In latest editions, Aspen HYSYS 7.0 onwards, the steady state Fired Heater model supports the specification of combustion efficiency and flue gas temperature and solves based on these parameters and fully defined feed and fuel / air streams. The fired heater supports multiple fuel and air streams. If you still have any query, do ask along simulation model opening at you desk.
