We are facing issues in finding A-182 FXM-19 Alloy from market being used here as working barrel in a high pressure PD pump. The alternate available is SA-276 XM-19. Chemical composition of both these look like same. Can any body let me know if we can use A-276 as alternative.
The properties expected out of the material are 1)- High corrosion resistance 2)- Wear resistance @ 300degree F 3)- Strength & Hardness
Your quick response is awaited in this regard.

Based on the tensile properties of A-276 XM-19 in annealed condition yes, you can use that. However, A-182 FXM-19 is a forging which is solution heat treated and quenched.
As ASTM is different which means the set of examination may differ, I would suggest that you must seek the advise of pump manufacturer also.

I do not find any issues in it as far as the chemical & mechanical properties stays the same for the mentioned grade.
A276 is a rolled bar whereas A182 is a forged billet but the stated properties in both ASTM for the said grade are the same.
