Pig launcher design

Guys, your help required in the design of a pig launching and receiving station. What are the standards regarding delta pressure across pig and flow that should be maintained. What are the piping, pig signaling, quick closure and kicker line standards?

tosif, as far as I know, there are no lower limits of pig velocities in pipeline. Where as maximum velocities should be as follows;
For piping in intermittent service:
In case of liquid 8 m/s.
In case of gas 40 m/s.
For piping in continuous service:
In case of liquid 4 m/s.
In case of gas 20 m/s.

For kicker line size specification; I normally used a guideline provided by our licensor.
10" - 14" Main Line: kicker line size should be 4"
16" Main Line: kicker line size should be 6"
18" Main Line: kicker line size should be 8"
(hope your line size lies in above range)
