What can be done with the damaged fins of a convection section heat exchanger?
Damage occurred during installation and erection activities. Figures have been attached.

I would suggest that you must share the extend of damage with your process engineers and seek their opinion on required heat transfer and the actual one after fins damage. If the extent of damage is out of the allowable range, then you must consider options for straighten them out.

Yes damage extent must be looked into and then these fins can be straighten by using ant tool with which you may hold the fin and straight it. No problems but it's a but lengthy work.
