Guys,
If anybody know about any of the direct formulas for calculating direct weights of pressure vessel components like shell, head covers, flanges etc., please share.
Thanks.

Formulas for weight of shell and heads
Weight of shell = pi*Dm*t*L*d
Weight of heads:
hemispherical = 1.57*Dm*Dm**t*d
2:1 ellipsoidal = 1.084*Dm*Dm*t*d
Cone = Ac*t*d
where;
Dm = Mean vessel diameter, in
L = Length of vessel, tangent to tangent, in
t = vessel thickness, in
Ac = Area of cone, in2
d = density of material, lb/in3

Calculation for weight of weld neck flange
1. [(O*O*pi)/4 - (B*B*pi)/4]*T
2. (B+G)*pi*G*H
3. 0.5[(B+2G+W)*pi*W*H
4. ((D*D*pi)/4)*T*N
5. V = 1+2+3-4
6. Weight = V*d
where;
T = thickness of flange, in
O = Flange OD, in
D = Bolt hole diameter, in
H = Hub height, in
G = hub thickness at small end, in
W = width of hub, in
B = ID of flange, in
V = Volume, in3
d = Density of material, lb/in3
N = Number of bolts, holes
