Thanks for the valuable inputs. Actually, the buttering has already been made by manufacturer at his site. And the reason of buttering with Inconel 625 was to avoid PWHT after welding of nozzle-to-nozzle weld joint.
Here at site, we are just filling the weld joint with Inconel 82/182 consumables. I agree with you that the exact match for Inconel 625 is ER-NiCrMo-3 but at site Inconel 82/182 was readily available and we thought that it would be good to weld with this as Inconel 625 is not the process requirement. We just have to make a good weld which can be made by Inconel 82/182. Was using inappropriate welding consumable the main cause of cracking?

The purging gas we utilized was pure Ar 99.9%. How mixture of gases help during welding of inconel?
