Hydrotest of Piping with Check Valve

ya i think this true for pressure vessel testing...... but for Piping test whether B31.3 allow pneumatic test or not ... i am not sure...........?

It's true for piping also as in ASME B31.3 para 345.1(b), it has been mentioned that where the owner considers hydrostatic test impractical, either a pneumatic test or combined pneumatic-hydrostatic test may be substituted considering the hazard of energy stored.
