What\'s the major difference in high and low alloy materials. Provide me some examples from actual application.

Any material which has been alloyed more than 8% according to most of the literatures should be considered as high alloy.
Lower alloying percentage is low alloy range.

I have seen 5% alloying considered as high alloy as well. But most of the times, it is 8% or we can consider 5-8% and beyond as the reference.
