Safety guys,
What are the major references (accepted internationally) to comply with the safe works when doing scaffolding works?
Scaffolding Safe Works - References
Re: Scaffolding Safe Works - References
There is an ISO coverage on this:
ISO 22109 – Personal fall protection for scaffolding
ISO 18878 – Operators of elevating work platforms — training (related but often referenced)
They would not be covering all the details like design /erection etc.
OSHA covers that through:
29 CFR 1926 Subpart L – Scaffolds
29 CFR 1910 (general industry, where applicable)
These however would be covering:
Design load requirements
Access/egress
Guardrails, platforms, planking
Training
Inspections

Re: Scaffolding Safe Works - References
Design & structural performance should be conforming with EN 12811 / EN 12810.
For US references, I understand you can get some very practical information within ASSE A10.8.

O men, thank you.
EN12810, 12811, and ASSE A10.8 are good ones.
Got the details needed.
