Does anybody know about any engineering software helpful to design the structural members for supporting purposes?
Any ready-to-use utility would help.

Yeah, the tool is basic and can perform the calculations you are looking for.
Otherwise, basic steel member strength calculations can also be performed using publications from AISC.
