TRIR Calculation

Post by ivani1 »

When considering the employee workhours in TRIR calculation, do we include the contractor men working at site as well or are they not included?

Simple rule here is that the contractor men if being managed for their daily works directly by the site team then yes, manhours should be counted as part TRIR calculation.

Correct what jeem said, the other way to look at this is the reporting part.
Contractor need to report their own TRIR if not supervised by the Company and that should be termed as Contract TRIR, and must have a place to be represented provided Contractor working in premises of Company. Therefore,
Company TRIR
Contractor TRIR
Total TRIR

These would provide the an overall representation.
