Inviting you all to share with us any feedback related to WeldPulse software, here.
We ensure that the feedback will be considered during upcoming versions.
Keep welding.

Some comments you may consider.
I remember the time of WeldShop when that was released. The idea of having a quick welding procedure for any two materials to be welded provided their joint thickness is given was excellent. Quick repairs which are required to be performed on urgent basis need that sort of informed procedure. There were only few materials provided in WeldShop and the software worked very well.
Enhancing that idea to have WeldPulse is place providing quick welding procedure for 500+ materials was kind of a reward however, I would like to suggest the following:
1. There should be an option within QuickWeld module to transfer the outputs to a WPS format
2. WPS module must have code compliance check when being developed directly against provided PQR
3. Welding calculations should get the reference of renowned vendor prices (this I understand was available in previous versions)
4. I am not sure if consumables for SAW and processes other than SMAW & GTAW can also be added in upcoming versions (or another edition may be)

I am not sure if the team has already considered, but having a mobile on-the-go app to check the right welding consumables, material properties would surely support.
If right for others, the software brings a good deal to perform auditing practices on welding as well. The first copies we got were used to have our inspection engineers refer it to have welding control in the field and the workshops. Though WPS are available however, the right copies, the applicable one, conformance somewhere are required to be checked.
Currently, it is a nice desktop application but enhancing that to mobiles would be useful as well.

Good, we have this thread.
Bring in API 1104 requirements as well.

See the package is good one for everyone who is dealing with welding, welding procedure, qualification, welding calculations, and managing all these. In my opinion, these modules help with the daily welding work. All I would say is to enhance to cover other code requirements as well like irish highlighted provision of API 1104 or you can consider having structural welding codes included also.
The part of material and filler properties is my favorite and then the one where two materials can be compared with a single command.
Think on those line, consider having a comparison command for fillers as well. Will do a lot when making reviews.
To me, in its current shape, it provides auditing benefits. We receive a lot many welding documents to review. Modules help with some quick checks.
Auditing side has the essential variables checks both for procedure and performance which are covered as well. Here, you may consider getting SAW in as well. GTAW and SAW are covered adequately and they cover a lot of business in our petrochemical industry.
Surely, be sharing feedback, in case, we see something where an enhancement would actually support.

Within the Welding Cost & Economy module, it is recommended to have latest entries from the welding consumable suppliers. Though they have to be regularly updated, however, was thinking if getting connected to the internet, once the values are updated, WeldPulse updates itself with those new rates. This would be a great help.
I still understand that suppliers value is a variable and not in all zones, the rates are same but as a reference, some baseline rates would definitely help, supported with necessary update.

Predict-F module has been made with the material composition requirement from user which is good that the actual composition might need to be entered, however, an option of auto populating optimum chemical composition based upon the provided material and the fillers would help a lot.
Like if I am only estimating not on the actual composition, I would like to have this feature in place to tell me if I am welding two materials with a certain rod, what is the expected ferrite number.
