Temperature Compensation....

Hi Guys,

Thermocouple (TC) generate mV signal and DCS translate mV signals to corresponding temperature.
Special TC cables are used to connect TC in process line to DCS...

Now days in most DCS, cold junction is configured in DCS Temp Module.. but due to long cable/wire length & also due to ambient temperature we may loose mV signal in the loop..

How to do temperature compensation in such scenarios??
