Broken shim pack coupling

Is it advisable to keep a shim pack coupling in service with ~5 shims broken out of ~20 shims?

Its a metastream / Johncrane coupling

Keep looking at the shims regularly at least once a day.
At this point in time, it may not hamper anything but if the looseness or excessive vibration persists, it can fail any time.
