Qaisar, Infact this is one test which is carried out simultaneosly and is called by Hydro-Pneumatic Test.
The link you have passed is the comparison of Hydro Test & Pneumatic Test.
Kindly update if you find any relevant data on this.

Gujral,
Sorry for non-relevant reference link. Hydro-Pneumatic Test is a new concept for me indeed. Will be interested to seek any information related to this.

Gujral502,
It would be good if you ask any specific question but still I will try to pen down a summarized procedure.

Re: Hydro Pneumatic Test Procedure Required
For tanks required to be hydro pneumatically tested, here is an outlined procedure:
1. Before water filling, all the datum readings shall be taken which involve initial tank elevations at certain number of equispaced points.
2. Water quality shall be ensured as per applicable design code.
3. Water filling shall only be commenced when all the roof manholes are open.
4. Described filling rates should be followed.
5. Water filling shall be commenced with a minimum prescribed level after which visual inspection of bottom to corner weld shall be made. Only after ZERO leakage, water filling shall be continued.
6. At each specified level, visual inspection is to be made. Settlement readings shall only be taken after holding the water level at least for 30 minutes.
7. Normally, settlement readings shall be taken at 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% of test level.
8. Holding time at test level shall be 24 hours.
9. After the hydrostatic testing is declared OK, pneumatic testing shall be commenced at 1.25 times of design pressure in the space above water level.
10. Pneumatic testing shall be done by raising the air pressure as slowly as possible and shall be maintained for 30 minutes at each prescribed pressure value.
11. Pneumatic test pressure shall be held for one hour.
12. All the checks need to be performed for any leakage.
13. Draining the tank from water and releasing the pneumatic pressure shall be done carefully.
14. Firstly, start releasing the air pressure through a valve so that the tank shall be free of any internal pressure.
15. Secondly, the water must be drained at a rate not higher than the prescribed filling rates.
I have taken the case of a single wall tank. Hope this helps.
