Thanks for reply, actually we have steam jacketed fuel line and now we want to use condensate instead of steam for energy conservation. I want to know whether condenstae can be given to existing steam jacket or we have to mofify it.

the things that you need to consider while going for such modification are
1) Required heat duty
2)heat transfer coefficient of the alternate media
3)Area required for intended heat transfer with alternate media. (heat transfer coefficient with steam is usually very high hence requires very little heat transfer area, otherwise you'll have to increase heat transfer area inversely proportional to heat transfer coefficient)
4)Pressure drop for required flow of alternate heating media (if the pressure drop is high, you need to provide multiple inlets for condensate)
5)Modification in inlet and outlet connections accordingly (as with steam usually there are steam traps at the outlet and line sizes are smaller)

If you have answers to the above questions, you can shift to condensate from steam. Standards for jacketed heating or cooling are there but they would apply to new jacketing system. Yours is already there, you just need its evaluation for the alternate heating media.
I hope this is helpful in your case

Actually I want to see whether we need to replace the whole jacket or existing will be sufficeint. I have standard for steam jacket but not for condenstae jacket. Please if u have that, provide me.
I will be very thankful to you for that.

dhproeng, there is no change required in your jacket hopefully. You only have to adjust the flow rates accordingly, as you are not designing but rating a sort of double pipe exchanger. Check mechanical integrity against your NEW design pressure and temperature. Rest of the check are well described by imran.
