Generally for crane inspections we require a yearly inspection certificate from 3rd party along with the manufacturer's crane maintenance guideline. We never inspect the crane our self without having a proper authorization or qualification.
Crane load tests are being carried out always after every reconfiguration of crane so basically this test proves that reconfiguration is done properly as per manufacturer's guidelines and also complying relevant codes & standards.
Load test witnessed by 3rd party is more than sufficient for any reconfiguration in any crane.
