Other than the hot lines, temperature driven, where else spring support hangers are applied on piping?
Unfortunately I do not have access to the standards you mentioned.

Dual phase flow & piping spring supports

For piping in dual phase flow, is it mandatory to have piping supports type as spring hangers?
If not, in which cases spring hanger supports are considered to be installed. Share some reference guidelines to understand this better,

You mentioned that swing check valves are preferred in horizontal positions only.
Are they not installed at all in vertical runs?
