Re: Reference Hardness Values - PQR

Yes in PQR, those are the values which should be mentioned and this is part of API 577.

On temporary basis, enhanced control has been implemented through site awareness workshops of running a ...

Re: CP Unavailability

Have you checked if there could be any temporary protection made available till you implement the full project.
To me this sounds critical where a hydrocarbon storage tank is left with no cathodic protection at all.
Temporary solutions may include provision of galvanic anodes. Or you can also ...

Re: Restricted Orifice - Inspection & Maintenance

Including any sort of restricted orifice is not a mandatory requirement from any of the piping inspection code, just to clear you on that.
RO itself does not qualify to be a pressure equipment however it is classified as special emphasis piping component meaning can have significant impact on the ...

Re: Performing Baseline Inspections

See the basic concept of any inspection job is to start with inspection history.
No inspector goes to the site to perform any meaningful inspection before looking into the inspection history of the equipment.
Absence of any baseline inspection when the equipment was installed would provide a gap ...
