i would advice you to review the essential varaibles mentioned in ASME Ix of respective process the clause is QW 252 to ownward

Painting Requirement
we just fabircated ammonia storage tank as per API 620 App R
now its in stages of painting.
before painting we want to sand blast all the tank but contractor is not agree for it. as condition of plates are so severe as it is near the cooling tower zone.
my question is that is there any reference ...

on our plant side almost all kind of exchanger are present.
so is it possible that we will use this test to detect the leaks in heat exchanger if yes then how???
