Re: Cascade control
ibrahim, cascade control loops with temperature are always tricky ones. You should use PID controller for temperature with a sluggish response initially. Add some derivative factor also. Keep in mind there are two controllers in series working to control temperature. Tune level controller separately ...

Re: Complete Learning of HYSYS
Thanks ibrahim for information regarding fired heater. Hysys has a limitation regarding solid handling. As we require solid fuel based boiler to be simulated. Do share if you have any idea how to do that. It will be a fluidized bed combustion based boiler. Also do tell me if there is any other ...

Re: Fuel cells
Such a wonderful sharing, thanks proeng. And yeap, we are currently referring that book "Fuel Cell Handbook" by Parsons Inc. Let me give a little background also; we actually are working on a power-plant as a whole, using municipal waste. as you may aware that contains many other metallic oxides ...

Re: Bio-gas based Power generation
ibrahim, in general boigas production is done thru either natural an-aerobic process (uses of enzymes are also common to enhance the rate) or thru catalytic gasification process. Gasification process is further divided based on bed types; Fixed Beds (Downdraft, Updraft, Slagging Fixed Beds) and ...
